Follow the instructions below for your particular browser:
Internet Explorer 5+
Mozilla Firefox:
- Navigate to the webpage that you would like to make your home page, e.g. FocusOnOurCommunity.com.
- On the Firefox toolbar click on Tools
- On the drop down menu that appears click on Options
- On the Main page of the Options window, in the Startup area, go to the When Firefox starts: selection window and make sure Show my home page is selected
- If you are at the FocusOnOurCommunity.com main page, click on the Use Current Pages button below the Home Page: window and then click OK - FocusOnOurCommunity.com is now your Hometown Homepage!
- If you are not on the FocusOnOurCommunity.com main page, insert http://www.FocusOnOurCommunity.com/ in the Home Page: window and click OK - FocusOnOurCommunity.com is now your Hometown Homepage!
Netscape Navigator 4+
- On the main menu click on Edit then select Preferences
- Select Navigator from the category list
- Type in the web page address as your homepage
Opera 3+
- On the main menu bar click on Navigation and select Set Home.
- In the Global Home Page field, type in the web page address as your home page.
- Click OK
- Select the Save Windows checkbox.
Netscape Navigator for Apple Macintosh
- On the main menu click on Edit then select Preferences
- Select Navigator from the category list
- Type in the web page address as your homepage
Internet Explorer for Apple Macintosh
- On the main menu click on Edit then select Preferences
- Select Web browser from the category list followed by home/search
- Type in the web page address as your homepage
